Educational Myth Busters – The Science Behind Learning is an Erasmus+ training course aimed at youth workers, educators and professionals working with young people who want to reflect critically on educational practices and strengthen their impact through evidence-based approaches.
The training will take place in Arroyomolinos, near Madrid, from 27 March to 3 April 2026, and will bring together participants from Italy, Spain, Greece, Lithuania and the Czech Republic. The project is fully funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, with accommodation, meals and activities covered, and travel costs reimbursed according to programme rules.
At the heart of Educational Myth Busters is the idea that many educational methods are still influenced by assumptions and “myths” rather than by research on how people actually learn. Through non-formal education, reflection and co-creation, participants will explore the science behind learning and gain practical tools to become more inclusive, effective and confident in their work with young people.
The course focuses on topics such as growth mindset, resilience, entrepreneurial thinking, critical use of artificial intelligence in education and active civic participation. Beyond the residential training, participants are expected to actively contribute before, during and after the mobility, sharing the knowledge and tools acquired within their local communities.
Europamente ETS is proud to be part of this European partnership and to support opportunities that foster learning, cooperation and professional growth in the youth field.
