Navigating the Digital World with Purpose: An Erasmus+ Training in Bucharest

In an era increasingly shaped by algorithms, social media, and online information, the ability to think critically and navigate digital spaces safely has become essential — especially for those working with young people. To respond to this growing need, a new Erasmus+ Training Course, From Clicks to Critical Thinking, will take place in Bucharest, Romania, from 10 to 17 November 2025.

The project, coordinated by AVATAR Association (Romania) in collaboration with Europamente (Italy) and several European partners, aims to strengthen the skills and knowledge of youth workers, educators, and mentors in the field of digital literacy and well-being.

Over the course of a week, participants from seven different countries will explore key themes such as critical thinking, online disinformation, the influence of social media, and the impact of digital culture on self-esteem and mental health. Through non-formal education methods — including workshops, simulations, and collaborative learning — the training will provide practical tools to promote a more reflective and responsible use of digital media among young people.

The initiative also emphasizes international cooperation and the exchange of good practices, fostering a European network of professionals committed to guiding the next generation of digital citizens.

Europamente is currently looking for three participants from Italy.
